How to create workflow

Product: Quark Publishing Platform (QPP) NextGen

Creating a workflow is a very important part of workflow management in the Admin section of QPP NextGen.

Following are the steps to create a new workflow in the Quark system:

  1. Go to the Admin page and select the tab Workflow in the left pane.
  2. On the Workflow page, s​​​​​​elect the button + New Workflow in the top bar actions to open the Manage Work Steps pane.
  3. In the Manage Work Steps pane, enter a unique name for the workflow.

  4. Select the link Manage Content Types to open the pane Add Content Types to Workflow in which you can select the content types that you want to add to the workflow and then select the button Done

    You can see the added content types right below the Workflow name in the Manage Work Steps pane.
  5. Select the button Click to add new status to add a new status to the workflow (added as a new status card in the left frame), which opens the information related to a new status in the right frame of the Manage Work Steps pane, wherein you can set a name and other properties to manage the flow of a status.

  6. Select the button Save.
