How to debug your template design in Smart Content Designer

Product: Quark Publishing Platform (QPP) NextGen, QuarkXPress

You can debug your template design using the Smart Content Preview palette by verifying and managing the layout of your output and the styles of the elements in real-time.

In Smart Content Designer, you can perform debugging at the following four different levels:

• Debug Layout: Manage master pages and master page rules for document pages and box tagging of individual sections.
• Debug Styles: Manage character, paragraph, and other element specific styles.
• Debug Content: Manage overmatter and unused elements.
• Manage Style Rules: Manage all the styles applied in the Smart Content Style Rules Viewer palette.
